Sprinkle muffins and sweet bread loaves with turbinado sugar (the raw sugar found on your grocer's baking aisle) before baking. The tops will bake up with a crisp, sparkling crunch! Everyone will really be fighting over the muffin tops now!
After reading about this tip in my book, I went to buy some. Now my daughter loves to put sparkles on are muffins and breads!
